Reptilicus (1961)

1961 · 81 min · Horror, Science Fiction

A portion of the tail of a prehistoric reptile is discovered in Denmark. It regenerates into the entire reptile, which proceeds to destroy buildings and property and generally make a nuisance of itself. It can fly, swim, and walk, and has impenetrable scales, which makes it difficult to kill.

Directed by Sidney W. Pink. Starring Bent Mejding, Asbjørn Andersen, Ann Smyrner, Mimi Heinrich and Dirch Passer.

Lyradrift plots Reptilicus as a star at the centre of its own sky, with related films orbiting it as satellites, gathered from TMDB recommendations, shared themes, Wikidata links (same director, writer, series, source material or subject) and closeness of feel, then chosen for the strongest evidence — the closer and brighter a star, the more strongly it is related. Fly to any satellite to make it the new centre and keep exploring.
