A struggling donkey unexpectedly wins Azad City's first election after the ruler abdicates. He becomes "The Donkey King," leading the nation in an unusual turn of events and proving that though by looks he is a donkey, by heart he is a hero.
Directed by Aziz Jindani. Starring Afzal Khan, Hina Dilpazeer, Faisal Qureshi, Javed Sheikh and Irfan Khoosat.
Lyradrift plots The Donkey King as a star at the centre of its own sky, with related films orbiting it as satellites, gathered from TMDB recommendations, shared themes, Wikidata links (same director, writer, series, source material or subject) and closeness of feel, then chosen for the strongest evidence — the closer and brighter a star, the more strongly it is related. Fly to any satellite to make it the new centre and keep exploring.
