The dashing Earl of Huntingdon excels in courtly life and jousting before King Richard departs for the Crusades. While away, Richard's treacherous brother, Prince John, seizes power and inflicts brutal tyranny on the civilians. Huntingdon transforms into the heroic outlaw Robin Hood, gathers his 'merry men', and battles to restore the true king and protect lovely Lady Marian.
Directed by Allan Dwan. Starring Douglas Fairbanks, Enid Bennett, Wallace Beery, Sam De Grasse and Alan Hale.
Lyradrift plots Robin Hood as a star at the centre of its own sky, with related films orbiting it as satellites, gathered from TMDB recommendations, shared themes, Wikidata links (same director, writer, series, source material or subject) and closeness of feel, then chosen for the strongest evidence — the closer and brighter a star, the more strongly it is related. Fly to any satellite to make it the new centre and keep exploring.
