Nine years later, Jesse travels across Europe giving readings from a book he wrote about the night he spent in Vienna with Celine. They are both in relationships now, and Jesse has a son, but as their strong feelings for each other start to return, both confess a longing for more.
Directed by Richard Linklater. Starring Ethan Hawke, Julie Delpy, Vernon Dobtcheff, Louise Lemoine Torrès and Rodolphe Pauly.
Lyradrift plots Before Sunset as a star at the centre of its own sky, with related films orbiting it as satellites, gathered from TMDB recommendations, shared themes, Wikidata links (same director, writer, series, source material or subject) and closeness of feel, then chosen for the strongest evidence — the closer and brighter a star, the more strongly it is related. Fly to any satellite to make it the new centre and keep exploring.
